About us
Community Outreach was started over a decade ago by the founder Pamela Buckle who was led as part of her journey to do specific work for people in the community. During this time, she recognised there was a need to offer a service which would enable people to gain or regain their independence. Understanding the importance of freedom through independence,
Community Outreach was established. The principle of the organisation is governed by caring for others and this principle led Pamela Buckle to consider the care needs of those who are unable to leave their homes or care homes either through age, illness, or disability, in an attempt at reducing their loneliness and isolation, whilst assisting them to remain independent and enhancing their quality of life.
Community Outreach fulfils its name as the work we complete is for the community by reaching into the community by providing support on demand.
What is integral to Community Outreach is our ability to be person centred, this simply means putting the person at the heart of what we do, which underpins our principle of care.
